Guinea Pigs

Willow was adopted from a local animal shelter at around a year old. She was a lab guinea pig for the first year of her life and was then surrendered to the shelter for adoption after that phase of her life. Willow is so curious and full of energy!

When she first came home, she was quite nervous and didn’t even know how to eat veggies! Her buddy TJ was a great role model at the time, helping her learn the ropes and bringing out her confidence. Now, Willow has morphed into a huge foodie and social butterfly. She’s an incredibly sweet girl who has come to love interacting with people and learning tricks.

Pansy is a cute, fluffy girl who is bonded with Callie, Nala, Ciara, and Clover. Pansy has a very sweet and inquisitive personality. She’s a pretty laid-back piggy and a bit of a diva. She’s a friendly girl and a big foodie too.

Pansy is always front and center to beg for her favorite treats, but won’t hesitate to spit them back out if they’re not to her liking. She also loves to pose for photos (with lots of treat compensation, of course.) She was adopted from her previous owner at about 2 months old when they discovered they were allergic to her.

Skylar was adopted from an owner who no longer wanted to keep their guinea pigs. She came along with her daughter Skittles (below.) Sky is full of energy and very intelligent. She is very friendly and outgoing and absolutely loves attention and learning new things.

She’s incredibly curious and always the first to run up to greet me when I walk into the room. She is the sweetest girl and loves to jump on my lap and beg for treats. She makes friends with new people very quickly, as long as they bring her veggie treats! 🙂

Skittles is the daughter of Skylar, and she is such a cute and outgoing little character, just like her mom. ❤️ She is quite an inquisitive little troublemaker, always finding something naughty to get into.

She’s incredibly bold, full of beans, and also a huge foodie. She’s also very social and loves greeting people (and seeing if they brought her any treats!) She’s incredibly smart and learns new things almost instantly.

Nala is a happy little ball of sunshine. Quite the social butterfly, she loves other piggies and people alike. Nala is very curious and loves to be involved in anything that is going on. She’s very smart and loves learning tricks, painting, and posing for photos.

Ciara (CiCi) is a sweet girl I adopted from a local animal shelter when she was a couple of months old. She was abandoned in a cage on the side of the road with a dozen other guinea pigs.

Unfortunately, she was also pregnant at a young age when I brought her home. She gave birth to a single girl named Clover, and she and her daughter are now inseparable.

Ciara has grown up to be a lovely girl, and so sweet despite her past experiences. She loves to model in photos and often runs over to me and climbs up on my leg for treats. She is the first one to greet me when I go to their enclosure and the last one to leave. She’s also a little sneaky and LOVES to try to chew my hair when she manages to get ahold of a strand.

Clover is Ciara’s daughter, and she was born in December 2022. Clover is an adventurous and sweet girl. She loves to stand up on her cage to greet me, and she absolutely LOVES her food! She also loves to follow Ciara around and greet all the other piggies through the cages.

Clover loves to explore and she’s always up to something. She’s a little social bug and loves to jump up on my lap for treats and praise.

Callie is a 5 year old Abyssinian, adopted at about 3.5 years old. Callie is a little more reserved and independent, but she has come out of her shell immensely with the help of her 3 new bonded piggy sisters.

Callie is a very sweet girl who loves attention and all kinds of veggie treats! She loves posing for photos and has grown to love learning tricks too.

Vinnie is a sweet and confident guy. He is Callie’s sister. Vinnie loves interacting with all the other piggies, and he enjoys learning new tricks too. He’s an incredibly clever guy and learns new things very fast. He also loves posing for photos and being in the spotlight.

Cheese was mis-sexed as a girl and bonded to Ciara when I adopted them. He was also part of the rescue group that was abandoned outside in carriers.

I discovered he was a boy shortly after adopting them, but fell in love and decided to build him his own cage and keep him.

Cheese is full of energy and super outgoing. He is food-obsessed and always runs to the side of the cage to beg for treats as soon as I walk into the room. He also loves head rubs and will put his paws up on the cage and close his eyes while I stroke his head.

He’s a very expressive boy and a bit of a clown. He’s always the first one to pick up his bowl and start throwing it around his cage when dinner is late.

He is also the most energetic popcorning guinea pig I’ve ever met in my life. He jumps and pops like crazy, such a happy boy. He LOVES the girls and can reliably be found rumble-strutting and flirting with them through the cage.

Rocket is a black and white Abyssinian guinea pig, born in January 2023. Rocket is active, fast, and quite an agile little athlete.

He is sassy and outgoing, with a big and bold personality. Rocket is also smart as a whip and loves to explore. He’s very nosy and curious, always finding new things to get into. He loves the girls and can often be found rumblestrutting around and flirting with everyone through the cages.

Pixie was rescued from a breeding mill and came along with her daughter, Piper. Pixie is a very curious and sweet piggy. She loves her food and enjoys exploring at her own pace. While a little shy at first, her inquisitive and sweet personality shines through quickly.

Piper is a little shy, but very adventurous and curious. She loves her lettuce and gets excited to come out and climb on my lap for treats. She loves to be a bit naughty and snatch food to drag away into her house. 🙂

Emmy is a very sweet and social girl. She is clever and curious, and loves to explore. She is also VERY vocal and loves to lead the choir at dinner time! Emmy is a huge foodie and loves to pose for photos (as long as yummy treats are involved!)

Aria is a very confident and sweet girl. She is a social butterfly and loves saying hi to people. She is an amazing piggy model with her soft and luxurious hair, and she loves to pose for photos too. Aria is also a quick learner and enjoys learning fun new tricks.

Rabbit

Jinx is a very sweet girl. She’s a curious bunny and loves to be involved in anything I’m doing. She likes her treats, especially carrots and dandelions. She also absolutely loves jumping into the garbage bag while I’m cleaning (no, mom, don’t throw out the old hay!)

Dog

Ally is a water-loving border collie who loves kayaking, hiking, swimming, and agility. She is a big cuddle bug and lives for pets and belly rubs. She also loves to give hugs. 🙂

Water is her favorite thing in the world; she loves to chase the hose and jump into the river for a swim. Ally is also a huge velcro dog, always at my side. She loves her human family members intensely, and she’s always up for an adventure.

Fish

Spyro and Sonic are social little water piggies that love to swim around and navigate through their plants. They are very active and curious and always swim up to see if it’s feeding time whenever a person comes up to their tank.

Spyro is a slightly older common goldfish, and he is usually the first one to catch on to new things. He’s quite smart and a fast swimmer.

Sonic is a slightly more aloof comet goldfish with a longer tail and multi-colored eyes. Sonic is friendly and always a foodie, although sometimes he doesn’t notice when a piece floats right in front of his face. 😝
